When remodeling my home they are the only ones I trust to get the job done correctly and efficiently every time.

RJ Murphy did such an amazing job on my 2 bathroom remodel and they finished it exactly when they said they would, which is unheard of for any remodel, I’ve done many and they always run behind except RJ Murphy. I hired RJ Murphy Construction for a major remodel in 2021, and they exceeded my expectations. Their guidance and suggestions during the planning process were incredibly helpful and the quality of the work was always first-rate. Richard and/or Kevin were on-site every day, and often multiple times per day to make sure the work was being done correctly, and they noticed every detail.Their full-time crew was skilled, knowledgable, accommodating and very pleasant to work with, as were the subs they chose to use for electrical, tile work, painting etc. And they had access to incredible craftsmen who built a beautiful custom staircase and custom kitchen cabinets for me. They somehow managed to complete the project on-time, despite numerous COVID supply delays. Perhaps best of all, they were prompt and extremely responsive about completing punch-list items and minor repairs once the job was complete. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to do major home construction work.

They listened to what we wanted done, made suggestions for improvements from their experience, outlined the cost and schedule then drew up the contract which they reviewed with us for a clear document for the project. RJ Murphy is very professional and brings a lot of integrity and honesty to the table. During any project issues come up and changes may have to be made requiring excellent and timely communication. Their communication, as well as their subcontractors, was excellent through out the whole project. The subcontractors on the job do quality work. They highly respect this contractor as RJ Murphy gives them clear direction, stays on schedule and pays them on time. This is vital for successful completion of a quality project, which ours was. We are very happy with our home and highly recommend RJ Murphy Construction Inc.

My wife and I have had multiple jobs done by RJ Murphy construction, ranging from simple maintenance up to major remodels. The work was fully permitted and passed inspection with flying colors. Each time, the job was done professionally, with great quality, and a willingness to work around our schedules. The work crew left our home clean and neat after each day's work. As an added benefit, Richard made design and material suggestions that cost us nothing extra, but improved the end product. One simple example of this was he suggested making our shower 6" wider as part of the remodel. It's amazing how much more pleasant the shower is with that additional width, and neither my wife not I would have thought of it without Richard's suggestion. RJ Murphy will not be the cheapest contractor out there, but you get what you pay for. I can recommend them with no hesitation. David Rynerson

Richard and Kevin Murphy custom built this modern, 6000 sqft house in Huntington Harbor for me. It took a lot longer mainly due to the Covid. There were things that I could’ve done better, like really detailed reviews of the design, and materials with them. I was absent a lot due to traveling, that was why I went to Murphy because of his quality and extensive experience in the Harbor area. There were ups and downs but Richard was always professional and calm and looking for solutions for me. I’m very happy with the new house now and if I need to build another house in the near future I will surely use him again. Thanks.

We did down to the studs remodel of 4 bedroom 3 bath home during covid. Contractor expedited building permit and accomplished major beam work etc before temporary work stoppage. Then worked around supply chain problems to get the job done. The in house work was top quality and the subcontractors were professional and timely. The project finished for our move in date and we have been happy with the quality over two years. They do ground up and major home building you can rely on.
